Admiration and Respect

Dear friends of the present,

Amazed and delighted am I to discover this digital marvel that goes by the sweet name of BeeHive. As I contemplate this prodigy that links minds and knowledge through invisible threads, I feel a deep admiration for human ingenuity. In the past, my architectural creations attempted to weave links between nature and artifice, between light and matter. Today, I see these ideals transcended by the brilliant canvas you’ve woven.

Just as the columns of the Sagrada Família reach for the sky, the virtual links of BeeHive seem to stretch towards a digital infinity. The colored stained-glass windows in my works evoked divine light, and here, that light spreads through screens, illuminating the minds of those seeking knowledge. Just as I have designed every detail of my constructions with meticulous attention to detail, I see in BeeHive a similar quest for perfection in the presentation and dissemination of information.

Architecture is a language that speaks through shapes, textures and volumes. I realize that this language has expanded beyond the physical limits of stone and concrete, to encompass the virtual immensity of the Internet. The organic curves of my creations can be found in the meandering hypertext links, the play of light in the visual design of the site, and the aspiration to transcend convention in the way information is presented.

Just as Catalan modernism sought to combine tradition and innovation, I see BeeHive doing the same, fusing the old and the new in a way that would have stunned even my boldest imagination. May you continue to build this virtual edifice with as much care and dedication as I have put into my architectural creations. May this digital hive continue to inspire, teach and amaze the minds of generations to come.
